BRIEF:

Nike Free has always been a symbol of self expression, flexibility and creativity. With the launch of the new Nike Free in China, Nike was looking for a way to get audiences to experience the flexibility, whilst also expressing themselves.

SOLUTION:

Simple yet effective. Through WeChat, China's no.1 mobile messaging APP, users simply follow Nike on WeChat, send their favorite color photo and wait for a response. Within an instant, Nike replied with a picture of a customized Nike Free shoe, matching the colors of the photo.

Taking things one step further, each customized shoe came with a NikeID code, allowing users to order their customized Nike Free online.

Snap. Send. Enjoy. Purchase. Simple as that.

EXPERIENCE:

In little over a month, the campaign received more than 33, 090 submissions, as our audience started experimenting with the flexibility of the Free and their own creativity.

Our campaign launched with a promotional message from Li Na, inspiring users to start moving and experience Free.
